Uffculme School now uses the FSM Eligibility Checking Services. This removes the need for school to check entitlement each year, and means that any claims for Free School Meals will need to be completed online.
From September 2014 children in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 are automatically entitled to a free school meal. If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, and if you are in receipt of one of the identified benefits detailed on the Free School Meals flyer below, we recommend that you still apply. This will mean your child’s school does not miss out on important funding. It may also mean your child will continue to receive free meals after the end of Year 2.
The online application takes around 5-10 minutes to complete. You will need your own date of birth and NI number (or National Asylum Support Service reference number), and select Uffculme School as your son’s or daughter’s school.
If you do not have access to the internet and wish to make a FSM claim please phone school as soon as possible and we will be able to offer support.
Once you have completed your Free School Meals application, the school will automatically be informed of the outcome. If you are eligible for Free School Meals, this will be applied from the date the application was completed.
